Denim Diary 2.0 is HERE! I can’t tell you how good it feels to finally be able to say that. The creation of this site, along with a full relaunch of Denim Diary, is a process I started working on all the way back in December of 2019. It has been such a labor of love and I’m so excited I finally get to share it with you all! So let’s get to what you’re really here for—THE DENIM! Today we’re chatting about the McIntyre Denim Trouser from Ariat. I cannot begin to tell you guys just how impressed I am with these trousers. They are, by far, the best pair of Ariat denim that I have ever owned, and are one of the highest-rated pair of jeans I’ve had on Denim Diary.
Style Name: McIntyre Denim Trouser
Brand: Ariat (Savannah Sevens)
Type: Distressed Bootcut
Rise: Mid Rise
Fit: Semi-Fiitted Thigh, Relaxed Leg
Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love a trouser jean, and I can tell you with confidence that these McIntyre denim trousers are one of the best have ever owned. These jeans have a semi-fitted thigh and relaxed leg below the knee, with a trouser-style boot cut opening. These are definitely a mid-rise jean. The wash is one of my favorite parts—they’re a dark denim with whisker distressing through the thigh. The back pockets are a very simple and flattering design, with no flashy stitching or embroidery.
I’m a size 6, and I have a 28 in these, so I would recommend buying your true size. I bought the 34” inseam, but I will say that these feel a bit longer than my other Ariat 34” inseam jeans. Initially, I wanted an extra-long inseam on these, because I notice that a lot of my Ariat jeans get short after washing them, but that hasn’t been the case with these, whatsoever. In these photos I’m wearing them with booties that have a 3.5” heel.
The material on these is a blend of 93% cotton, 5% polyester, 2% spandex.I’ve had mine for about a month, and I’m surprised by how soft they are! I’m not kidding when I say they feel like pant-jamas.
These come in waist sizes from 25-34, and inseam sizes of 33”, 35”, and 37”.
Snag yours now, sister! If you end up loving these McIntyre Trouser jeans as much as I do, don’t forget to post a photo of them on Instagram and use the hashtag #jjarvdenimdiary.
