Hey Hey! First off I want to thank Jessie for letting me creep on to her little slice of internet homestead! Jessie has created the coolest space for you rad cats. Where else can you get these bomb reviews with links to quality products?! My name is Janzen, and I’m going to drop my own review on a pair of non-western jeans–these funky fun Light Wash Baggy Jeans.
I suppose you can saddle up and cowgirl in ‘em if you’d like, but they’re so fun I’m not sure you’ll want to. If I can borrow the coined phrase from Courtenay DeHoff these left me feeling like a #FancyLadyCowgirl.
Style Name: Light Wash Baggy Jeans
Type/Fit: Wide Leg
Rise: Mid-High Rise
These light wash baggy jeans are a super fun pair of high-waist, wide-leg jeans. They’re cute, comfy, and light on the pocketbooks. These have a vintage-chic feel, combined with a super light wash. They have a button closure, zipper fly, and plain back pockets. I love the wide-leg on these, which can be such a flattering look for a lot of different body types!
They come in at $22, which is such a great deal that I bought them TWICE! I wanted to have a backup pair for when I wore these out. If you know me in real life or see me around in Mineral Wells don’t judge when I wear them at least once a week!
Since I’m new around here, I’ll give you a little size rundown on myself. I am 5’8”, and I wear either a 25/26 in jeans. You might notice that these are not sold as numerical sizes, and can instead be purchased in XS-L. They do recommend a comparable numerical size, which is pretty spot on. In these jeans, I ended up purchasing an XS (2) in these jeans, and they fit like a GLOVE. My recommendation is to stick with your typical size. I wear a 2/26 in all jeans and I am wearing the XS(2) here. They sit right at your hip bone/natural waist for me that is right at my belly button. These jeans are a blend of 85% Cotton, 15% Polyester.
As far as the inseam goes, as mentioned earlier I’m 5’8”, and always need a long or extra long inseam in jeans. These are CRAZY long and I love them for it. I’m wearing 4” heels in these photos, and they still almost brush the ground.
